Romolo & Angela Cappello came to America from Sicily in 1958. With them they brought know how and a sweet dream.
Ten years later, Romolo's opened in San Mateo. Working hard they achieved success in building a business, a community and a family.
Their grandson, Joseph Romolo Cappello, stepped up to carry on the tradition of Romolo's Cannoli and Spumoni Factory. Joey vows to continue producing desserts according to the original
recipes using the best ingredients available.
